Metacritic has again this year collected the worst games of 2022 - here's the list!
Although 2022 was a really strong year - even with many games being delayed until 2023 - there were some big misses. Some started with high hopes, others were destined to fail at launch.
As in previous years, Metacritic has collected the worst games of 2022. The list may be authoritative because it is averaged over a number of reviews, but it's still possible that someone had a lot of fun with one of the top 10.
The site says: Games are ranked by Metascore (as of December 12, 2022) prior to rounding, and any titles with fewer than 7 reviews from professional critics are excluded. (In other words, these bad games are all major enough to get reviews from multiple publications.)
- Postal 4: No Regerts - 30 point (PC)
- CrossfireX - 38 point (Xbox Series X)

- XEL - 43 point (Switch)
